Ingredients
- 4 small Potatoes
- 4 Carrots
- 4 Celery Stalks
- 2 large Onions
- 1 (15 oz.) can Diced Tomatoes
- 1 (15 oz.) can White Hominy
- 1 (15 oz.) can Black Lima or Kidney Beans
- 1 qt. Water
- 1 qt. Turkey Stock or Chicken Broth from can
- 2-3 c. Turkey
- Okra
- 1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
- 1/2 tsp. Allspice
Directions

1Peel and dice potatoes.

2Rinse and place in 6 qt. pot.

3Peel and slice carrots. Slice celery.

4Rinse both and add to potatoes. Quarter and slice onion and stir into other vegetables.

5Heat and simmer until tender.

6Add remaining ingredients and enough water to cover.

7Simmer 1 hours and serve.

8Soup will be thick and hearty.

9For thinner soup, add water or broth.
