  • 1 Turkey & wing and leg for broth
  • 1 Bill Baron's Brine Herb Kit ( Molly Stones)or Honey brined recipe epicurious
  • 3 box Turkey Bone Broth (Trader J)
  • 6 Carrots (Trader J) Mixed Colored
  • 4 Onions (1 for inside - 3 for roasting pan
  • 2 Shallot - for broth
  • 1 bunch Herbs, Fresh Sage, Parsley, Tarragon, garlic, rosemary
  • 1 bunch Celery
  • 2 lemons (cavity)

    1 Day before Brine Turkey. Don't brine over 18 hrs. We used Bill Baron's (Molly Stones) Remove neck & parts & add Turkey Bone Broth (TraderJ),& shallot & simmer on low (or put in slow Cooker) Or

    Day of: Wash & Dry Turkey inside & out. Squeeze lemon halves into main cavity. Put in cavity, onion, garlic, celery, apple, parsley, sage, lemon, tarragon rosemary and seasoning.

    Put soft butter under skin and put 1/2 cub in cavity. Mix seasoning(Bill Barron) in oil and a little butter. Rub on outside of Turkey.

    Rub carrots, onions, celery, and garlic with oil. Put in bottom of Roasting Pan.

    Tie Turkey wings. Roast Turkey in oven at 350 for 1 hour. Watch browning, tent with foil if necessary.

    Baste Turkey with 1 cup of broth every 30 mins. Thermometer 180 into thickest part of thigh.
