  • 4 turkey breast steaks
  • 4 teaspoons tomato puree
  • 12 ounce large fresh basil leaf
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 2 tablespoons wholemeal flour
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Place turkey steaks on a board and flatten with a rolling pin.

    Spread each steak with tomato puree, then top with a few leaves of basil, a little crushed garlic and salt and pepper.

    Roll up firmly around the filling and secure with a cocktail pick.

    Brush with milk and sprinkle with flour to coat lightly.

    Place the spirals on a foil lined grill pan.

    Cook under a moderate heat grill for 15-20 minutes, turning them until thoroughly cooked.

    Serve hot, sliced.
