Turnip Casserole

  • 10 to 12 turnips
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 small pkg. cream cheese
  • bread crumbs

Directions

    Boil peeled turnips in salted water.

    Drain and mash well. Add butter, softened cream cheese and sugar.

    Add more salt if needed.

    Place in casserole.

    Top with buttered bread crumbs. Bake 30 minutes at 350°.
