- 1 lb. small turnips, pared and sliced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper

1Melt butter in large, heavy skillet. Add the peppers, turnips and garlic. Stir-fry over medium heat, adding more butter if needed, until the turnips are tender when pierced with a knife. Season with salt and pepper.
