Ingredients: 1 (6 count) pkg. English muffins; 1 stick butter or margarine (1/4 lb.); sandwich filling (cheese, tuna and cheese, ham and cheese, bacon, cheese and tomatoes, etc.) or dessert filling (apple, cherry, peach or your favorite canned pie filling)

1 stick butter or margarine (1/4 lb.)
sandwich filling (cheese, tuna and cheese, ham and cheese, bacon, cheese and tomatoes, etc.) or dessert filling (apple, cherry, peach or your favorite canned pie filling)

Directions

Scrape out the center of both sides of an English muffin, taking care not to scrape a hole into the muffin.

Fill one half of muffin with your favorite sandwich or dessert filling.

Cover the filled half with the other half; butter both halves on the outside.

Wrap muffin in foil, using the drugstore wrap method. Place on coals for 3 to 5 minutes per side.
