  • 1 cup Butter, Melted
  • 1-1/2 cup Quick Oats
  • 1-1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1-1/2 cup Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 50 Individually-wrapped Caramels (approximately)
  • 1/2 cups Milk
  • 6 ounces, weight Chocolate Chips

Directions

    Combine butter, oats, sugar, flour, and soda. Stir until well combined and crumbly. Press about half of this mixture in the bottom of a greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350°F for about 10 minutes, until lightly brown.

    Meanwhile, unwrap caramels. Place caramels and milk in a pot, and melt over medium heat, stirring until completely melted.

    When crust is removed from oven, immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips in an even layer. Drizzle melted caramel over chocolate. Top with remaining crust.

    Bake at 350°F an additional 15 minutes. Allow to cool before cutting into 24 bars.
