- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup pecan halves
- 23 cup butter, cubed
- 12 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions

1In a large mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar until smooth.

2Gradually add flour; beat until crumbly.

3Press firmly into an ungreased 13x9x2-inch baking pan.

4Arrange pecans over crust.

5In a small heavy saucepan, combine butter and brown sugar.

6Bring to a boil; boil for 1 minute or until smooth, stirring constantly.

7Pour over pecans.

8Bake at 350F for 18-22 minutes or until bubbly.

9Sprinkle chocolate chips on top; Cool in pan on a wire rack for 3 minutes.

10Spread chocolate but allow some chips to remain whole.

11Cool completely; cut into small squares.
