- 1 box German Chocolate cake mix
- 1 can condensed milk
- 1 stick margarine or butter
- 14 oz. bag of caramels
- 1 c. chocolate chips
- 1 c. pecans
Directions

1Make cake according to package directions. Pour 1/2 batter into greased & floured 9 X 13 pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Melt caramels with margarine & canned milk. Pour caramel mixture over cake. Sprinkle pecans & chocolate chips over caramel mixture. Pour remaining batter over this. Continue baking for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
