- 1 (14 oz.) pkg. vanilla caramels
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 box German cake mix
- 3/4 c. oleo, melted
- 1 c. pecans
- 1 c. chocolate chips (1/2 light and 1/2 dark)
- 3/4 c. evaporated milk
Directions

1Melt caramels in 1/3 cup of milk on low temperature and set aside.

2Mix cake mixture, oleo and 3/4 cup milk well.

3Bake 1/2 of cake mixture for 15 minutes in a 350° oven.

4Take 1/2 cake from the oven.

5Spread caramels, chips and pecans on top.

6Pour remaining batter on top and bake for 15 to 25 minutes.

7Cool and cut into squares.
