- 1 Pillsbury German chocolate cake mix
- 1 c. margarine
- 1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
- 14 oz. Kraft caramels
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1 can double Dutch fudge frosting
Directions

1Mix cake as directed on box.

2Divide batter in half.

3To one half, add half the Eagle Brand milk and 1/2 cup melted margarine. Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan.

4Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until firm.

5Melt caramels, 1/2 cup margarine and rest of Eagle Brand milk.

6Add pecans.

7When cake is finished, pour caramel mixture over hot cake.

8Pour rest of cake batter over caramel mixture.

9Return to oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until firm.

10Frost when cool.
