  • 1 German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 pkg. Kraft or Brach caramels
  • 1 c. pecans
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1/4 c. evaporated milk

Directions

    Mix cake according to directions.

    Pour half into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Bake 15 minutes at 350°.

    While this is baking, melt caramels, margarine and milk, stirring constantly. Pour over baked portion.

    Sprinkle chocolate chips and pecans over this, then pour remaining cake batter over.

    Bake 20 minutes at 350°.

    Moist; no icing needed!
