- 1 pkg. Kraft caramels
- 1 German chocolate cake mix (with pudding)
- 2/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1 c. nuts
- 1 c. chocolate chips
Directions

1Melt caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk (over low flames). Mix cake mix and butter together.

2Grease a 9 x 13 x 2-inch cake pan.

3Pat half of the cake mixture in a greased cake pan.

4Bake at 350° for 6 minutes.

5Remove from oven and spread the melted caramel mixture over the cake layer.

6Sprinkle 1/2 cup of nuts and 1 cup of chocolate chips over caramel layer, then drop remaining cake mixture by spoonfuls over the nuts and chocolate chips. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of nuts on top and bake for 20 more minutes.
