- 1 (18 1/2 ounce) package German chocolate cake mix
- 3 eggs (or as called for by your cake mix)
- 13 cup oil (or as called for by your cake mix)
- 1 13 cups water (or as called for by your cake mix)
- 14 ounces caramels
- 12 cup evaporated milk
- 34 cup butter
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 (15 ounce) container chocolate frosting
- toffee pieces
Directions

1Mix German Chocolate cake according to package directions on box and pour half of the batter into a 9x13 baking pan, bake at 350F for 15 minutes.

2Melt the caramels with the evaporated milk and the butter, spread this mixture over the half of the batter baked above.

3Sprinkle with chocolate chips and pecans.

4Pour remaining batter into pan and bake for 20 minutes.

5Cool completely.

6Frost with a nice chocolate frosting and sprinkle with toffee chips.
