- 14 oz. caramels
- 1/2 ??? margarine
- 2/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 c. chocolate chunks
- 1 c. pecans
- 1 (18 oz.) box chocolate cake mix
Directions

1Prepare cake mix as directed.

2At the same time in top of a double boiler over hot water melt caramels, margarine and evaporated milk.

3Pour 1/2 prepared cake mix into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.

4Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.

5Pour caramel mixture over baked cake; sprinkle with chocolate pieces and pecans.

6Pour remaining cake batter over all and bake for 25 to 35 minutes.
