- 2 sticks butter or margarine
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 35 saltine crackers
- 1 large pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Arrange crackers, 7 across and 5 down.

3Melt butter with brown sugar, mix and pour over saltines.

4Bake 15 to 20 minutes (will bubble and harden when removed).

5Sprinkle warm toffee with chocolate chips and spread with a spatula when melted.

6Sprinkle with nuts.

7Chill until firm.

8Peel off foil and break into pieces.
