Ingredients

  • 1 can Royal Anne pitted cherries
  • 1 can diced pineapple
  • 1/2 c. chopped almonds
  • 1 pkg. tiny marshmallows
  • 2 c. grapes, cut and seeded
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 1/2 c. cream
  • 1 pt. whipped cream or Cool Whip
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. granulated gelatin
  • 1/4 c. cold water

    Beat the yolks well.

    Slowly add lemon juice, then the cream. Cook in double boiler until thick.

    Add gelatin soaked in cold water.

    Let cool.

    Fold in 1 pint of whipped cream or Cool Whip and combine with the fruit mixture.

    Chill overnight.
