- 4 carrots, diced
- 4 stalks celery, diced
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 1/2 large tomato, diced
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 can chicken broth
- 1 can Northern beans
- 1/2 bouillon cube
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Boil vegetables until tender in 1/2-cup water.

2Save the water and add 1 can chicken broth; add Northern beans, salt and pepper; cook 10 minutes.

3If more soup is desired, add 1 more can of broth and 1/2 bouillon cube.

4Also can add zucchini or any other vegetable or noodles rather than beans.

5Makes about 6 servings.
