- 4 baking potatoes
- shortening
- 1/3 to 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- shredded cheese
Directions

1Heat oven to 375°.

2Rub potatoes with shortening.

3Bake 1 hour to 1 1/4 hours.

4Increase oven to 400°.

5Cut potatoes across top and scoop insides out.

6Mash potatoes.

7Add milk in small amounts at a time.

8Add soft butter, salt and pepper.

9Beat until fluffy. Fill potato shells.

10Sprinkle with shredded cheese.

11Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown.
