  • 1 (18 1/4 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • egg, oil, water, etc for the cake mix
  • 5 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 12 cup crisco vegetable shortening
  • 12 cup margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sugar

Directions

    Bake the cake according to package directions in a greased and floured 9x13 pan.

    Cool completely.

    Cut in half lengthwise.

    Cook flour and milk, bringing to a boil until thick.

    Cool completely!

    In a bowl, add the rest of the ingredients to the milk.

    MIx on high for 8 minutes.

    Put bottom half of cake back in the pan and spread filling over it.

    Top with the other half of the cake.
