- 1 yellow or chocolate cake mix
- 1 c. milk
- 5 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix and bake cake mix according to package directions in a 13 x 9-inch pan.

2Cool.

3Slice in half lengthwise.

4Bring milk and flour to boil, stirring constantly.

5Cool well.

6Cream remaining ingredients and add to milk and flour mixture.

7Beat until fluffy. Spread on bottom layer and top with other half of cake.

8You can refrigerate 2 days before eating.

9You can cut cake into individual pieces, wrap in Saran Wrap and put in freezer.

10Good to take out and put in lunch pails.
