  • 5 celery stalks
  • 2 large heads cabbage
  • 8 red peppers
  • 8 green peppers
  • 7 large onions
  • 8 carrots
  • 1/2 c. salt
  • 3 pt. cider vinegar
  • 6 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 tsp. mustard seed

    Grind vegetables and add salt.

    Let stand 2 hours.

    Drain well.

    Mix with remaining and blend well.

    Let stand 1 hour, then put in jars and seal.
