- 1 pt. sweet red peppers, chopped
- 1 pt. sweet green pepper, chopped
- 1 qt. white onions, chopped
- 2 tsp. celery seed
- 4 c. sugar
- 1 qt. cider vinegar
- 1 or 2 hot peppers
- 5 Tbsp. salt
Directions

1Put each vegetable through food chopper, using coarse blade. If vegetables are covered with liquid, drain off and discard liquid.

2Measure each vegetable after chopping.

3Mix vegetables with salt and let stand overnight.

4Next morning, drain off and discard all liquid.

5Add spices, sugar and vinegar to drained vegetables and mix well.

6Pack into sterilized jars and seal at once.

7This relish is very good on hot dogs or hamburgers.
