- 1 lb. ground meat
- 6 slices bacon
- 1 green pepper, cut in rings
- 12 pimento stuffed green olives, sliced
- 1 1/2 c. (12 oz.) whole kernel corn
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 (10 1/2 oz. tomatoes) can tomato soup
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 (15 oz.) pkg. corn bread mix
Directions

1Brown bacon and crumble in a 10 or 12-inch frying pan. Arrange pepper rings and sliced olives in pan.

2Cover pepper and olives with crumbled bacon, salt and pepper to taste.

3Cook and simmer meat; saute onions and garlic, stir in tomato soup and chili powder.

4Spoon meat mixture over corn, pepper and olive rings.
