  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 14 cup molasses
  • 8 -12 pineapple chunks
  • whole cloves
  • 4 cups cooked ham, ground
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons onions, grated
  • 12 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 dash cayenne pepper
  • 12 cup pineapple juice

Directions

    Melt butter in bottom of greased loaf pan or casserole; cover with molasses.

    Stud pineapple wedges or cubes with whole cloves and arrange in molasses.

    Combine ham and remaining ingredients, pack into pan or casserole on top of pineapple.

    Bake covered in moderate oven (350F) for 30 minutes.

    Turn upside down on hot platter.
