- 5 eggs
- 3 c. sugar
- 2 sticks oleo
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 1/4 c. flour
- 3/4 c. milk (add water to make 1 c.)
Directions

1Cream Crisco, sugar and oleo.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.

3Add flour and salt with milk.

4Add flavoring.

5Pour in a greased and floured tube pan.

6Put in cold oven.

7Set oven temperature at 350°. Bake for 1 hour and 45 minutes.

8Do not open the oven door while baking!
