Vanilla Crunch Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 cup margarine
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 (10 ounce) bag miniature marshmallows
  • 1 (12 ounce) bag chocolate chips
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup Rice Krispies

    Beat first seven ingredients for 1 minute.

    Spread in greased 9x13 pan.

    Bake at 350° for 15 minutes or until spongy looking.

    Cover with miniature marshmallows.

    Return to oven for 3-5 minutes til marshmallows are melted.

    Cool.

    In microwaveable bowl, melt chocolate chips and peanut butter.

    Add rice krispies and spread on cooled bars.
