Vanilla Sauce

  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch, dissolved in a small amount of the milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

    Bring milk to a boil.

    Add sugar, dissolved cornstarch and egg.

    Cook 1 minute, stirring until thickened.

    Add vanilla. Cool.
