- 2 c. boiling water
- 1/3 c. margarine
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 c. milk
- 2 1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 8 slices bacon, crisp and crumbled
Directions

1Mix potatoes, carrots, celery, onion and salt and pepper in a saucepan; add boiling water.

2Cover and simmer 20 to 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender; do not drain.
