Veal Balls

Ingredients

  • 2 to 2 1/2 lb. ground veal
  • 4 medium onions, cut fine
  • dash of thyme and sage
  • salt and pepper
  • 5 to 6 slices bread, cubed
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. dried parsley
  • 1 can mushrooms (and liquid)

Directions

    Shape into balls and brown in shortening or butter.

    Place in casserole. Add 1 can mushroom soup and 1 can of water.

    Add a little flour.

    A little Kitchen Bouquet may be added.

    Bake at 300° for 1 1/2 hours.
