- 2 thick slices bacon
- 1 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 2 veal scaloppine
- grated zest of 1/2 lemon
- 1/2 c. heavy cream
Directions

1Fry the bacon to desired crispness; drain most of fat from pan.

2Add 1 tablespoon butter.

3Season veal with salt and pepper to taste.

4When butter has melted, add veal and brown quickly on both sides.

5Remove veal to warm platter.

6Add lemon zest and heavy cream to pan; deglaze pan and pour over veal.

7Serve with the bacon strips.
