- 2 lb. veal cubes
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. Crisco
- small garlic, minced
- 1 can chicken broth or 3 bouillon cubes in 1 c. water
- 1 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 large onion, sliced thin
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 small can mushrooms
Directions

1Shake veal cubes in salt and flour mixture. Brown in butter and Crisco. Add onion, garlic, pepper and broth.

2Simmer 1 hour and 15 minutes.

3Let stand for 10 minutes.

4Then add tomato sauce and mushrooms. Serve over hot rice or noodles.
