- 2 lb. lean beef
- 2 1/4 c. tomato juice
- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- 4 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp. chili powder
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 c. tomatoes
- 1 c. diced celery
- 1 c. whole kernel corn
- 1 c. sliced carrots
- 1 c. diced potatoes
- 1 c. limas
- 1 c. green beans
Directions

1Combine meat, juice, onion, seasoning and 6 cups water in kettle.

2Cover and simmer 2 hours.

3Cut meat from bones into large cubes.

4Strain broth and skim off fat.

5Add meat and vegetables to broth.

6Cover and simmer 1 hour.
