Ingredients

  • 1 loaf frozen bread dough, thaw and let rise until double in size
  • 5 thin slices Swiss cheese
  • 3/4 c. uncooked broccoli, cut in pieces
  • 3/4 c. thinly sliced mushrooms (fresh or canned)
  • 1/2 c. sliced onion
  • 1 large fresh tomato, sliced thick
  • 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Press dough on greased cookie sheet.

    Add remaining ingredients in layers.

    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and parsley.

    Cut 1-inch wide strips along sides of dough. Close loaf by folding sides up alternating sides.

    Wash with beaten egg.

    Let rise 1/2 hour or until double in size or until you're ready to bake.

    Bake at 325° for 30 to 40 minutes.
