Vegetable Hamburger Pie

Ingredients
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. parsley flakes
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas, thawed
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 (17 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
- 8 or 10 unbaked biscuits
Directions

1Saute onion and garlic in oil about 5 minutes or until tender. Add beef and cook until brown, stirring occasionally.

2Drain; add tomatoes, paste, salt, parsley and pepper.

3Simmer for 15 minutes. Stir in corn and peas.

4Pour into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Place biscuits on top and bake at 350° or until golden brown.
