Ingredients

  • 4 stalks fresh broccoli (flowerettes only)
  • 8 large fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 medium green pepper, chopped
  • 1 small head cauliflower, broken into flowerettes
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 2 Tbsp. poppy seed

Directions

    Combine first five ingredients in a large container with a tight lid.

    Combine remaining ingredients and mix well.

    Pour marinade over vegetables and toss; cover.

    Chill at least 3 hours. Yields 10 to 12 servings.
