- 6 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 bunch carrots, peeled and cut in half
- 1/2 lb. snap beans, cut in half lengthwise
- 1/4 lb. mushrooms, sliced or 1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
- 3 Tbsp. margarine
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Put potatoes in saucepan; add carrots.

2Add boiling water to barely cover.

3Add salt; cover and cook about 10 minutes.

4Add green beans; cover and cook 5 minutes.

5Add mushrooms and continue cooking about 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

6Add margarine; season to taste with salt and pepper.

7Makes 4 servings.
