Ingredients
- 7 large onions
- 1 medium cabbage
- 10 green tomatoes
- 12 green peppers
- 6 sweet red peppers
- 1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
- 1/2 c. pickling salt
- 6 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. mustard seed
- 1 Tbsp. celery seed
- 6 c. vinegar
Directions

1Using a coarse blade, grind onions, cabbage, tomatoes and peppers.

2Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.

3Sprinkle with pickling salt and let stand overnight. Rinse and drain well. Combine sugar, vinegar, mustard seed, celery seed and turmeric. Pour over vegetables.

4Heat over medium heat until vegetables are transparent.

5Pour into sterilized jar and process in hot water bath 10 minutes.
