  • 2 large onions, minced
  • 4 ribs celery, minced
  • 2 c. mushrooms
  • 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 4 c. cooked rice
  • 2 c. processed cheese, cubed
  • 3/4 c. toasted slivered almonds

Directions

    Saute vegetables in butter until tender.

    Add bouillon cubes to boiling water.

    Mix all ingredients except almonds.

    Put in a 2-quart casserole.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

    Stir in almonds just before serving.
