  • 1 lb. stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 large can whole tomatoes, mashed with juice
  • 2 large bags frozen vegetables of your choice
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Directions

    In large pot, brown meat in oil; add enough water to cover. Add tomatoes; simmer, covered, 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender.

    Add vegetables and seasonings.

    Cook 30 to 40 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
