- 1 c. chopped onions
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 lb. stew meat, diced
- 2 qt. water
- 1 bay leaf
- any kind vegetables
- 1 (No. 303) can stewed tomatoes (2 c.)
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato juice (3/4 c.)
- 2 c. diced potatoes
- salt to taste
Directions

1In a large pot combine onions, meat, vegetables, bay leaf and tomatoes.

2Cook two hours on medium heat.

3Add potatoes and salt. Cook until potatoes are soft.

4Makes about one gallon.
