Ingredients
- 1 ham, beef or pork bone
- 4 qt. water (about)
- 1 qt. tomatoes
- 1 large onion
- 3 stalks celery
- 12 oz. bag egg noodles
- salt and pepper
- 1 small head cabbage
- 8 medium potatoes
- 2 large bags frozen mixed vegetables
Directions

1In large pot, cover bone with water.

2Add tomatoes, chopped onion, chopped celery and chopped cabbage.

3Salt and pepper to taste.

4Boil about 1 hour, then remove bones.

5Add mixed vegetables and diced potatoes.

6Boil until tender.

7When vegetables are almost tender, add noodles.

8You do not have to add noodles, they are optional.

9Makes about 3 gallons of soup.
