  • 1 c. potatoes
  • 1/4 c. cooking oil
  • 1/2 c. onion
  • 1/2 c. celery
  • 1/2 c. macaroni
  • 5 c. water
  • 1 1/2 lb. stew meat
  • salt and pepper to taste
