Ingredients

  • 1 can dark red kidney beans
  • 1 can light red kidney beans
  • 1 can white kidney beans
  • 1 chopped tomato
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 large green pepper
  • 1 bunch scallions
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • onion powder
  • black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil

Directions

    Combine olive oil, onion, green pepper, scallions and tomato in large pot.

    Cook until brown (approximately 5 minutes).

    Add beans and tomato sauce.

    Add spices to taste.

    Cover and bring to boil. Turn down heat and simmer for 2 hours.
