Ingredients
- 500 grams tomato passata
- 400 grams frozen peas, thawed
- 1 small shallot, diced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 vegetable stock cube
- 1 salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper
- 1 pinch baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Directions

1Heat some oil in a pot over medium high heat.

2Add the shallot.

3Fry for a minute then add garlic.

4After about 30 sec add peas

5Next, add tomato passata and some water (between 1 and 2 cups) with a crumbled stock cube.

6Bring to a boil

7Season with salt, pepper, sugar and cayenne.

8Combine all the dumpling ingredients.

9Add one teaspoon worth of mixture in the boiling soup.

10Cover for 1 minute

11When dumplings are cooked, serve.
