- 5 cloves garlic
- 1 large onion
- 1 qt. tomatoes
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 can mushrooms
- basil to taste
- oregano to taste
- 1 zucchini or yellow squash (optional)
- 1 Tbsp. canola oil
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. sugar (optional)
Directions

1Crush garlic and chop onion and brown in oil.

2Add canned tomatoes and tomato sauce, mushrooms, salt, chopped squash (optional) and spices.

3Bring to boil; simmer for at least 2 hours.

4Good for weight watchers.

5Serve over spaghetti.
