  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. Crisco (solid)
  • red pepper (optional)

Directions

    Marinate venison in 2 tablespoons vinegar and water to cover for several hours or overnight.
