Venison Chili

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground venison
  • 2 c. tomato juice or more
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1/4 c. chili powder
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cumin

Directions

    Cook meat and onions in iron skillet until almost done.

    Add everything else; bring to boil and reduce to low.

    Simmer about an hour or remove to crock-pot and keep on low until ready to serve.
