Venison Chili

Ingredients
- 2 lb. ground venison
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 chopped green pepper
- 3 Tbsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 3 1/2 c. whole tomatoes
- 1 c. tomato sauce
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. cooked kidney beans
Directions

1Brown venison in vegetable oil.

2Add onions, garlic powder and green peppers.

3Cook five minutes, stirring constantly.

4Add chili powder, sugar, tomatoes, tomato sauce, water and salt.

5Simmer for 1 1/2 hours.

6If a thicker chili is desired, stir in one tablespoon flour mixed with two tablespoons water.

7Just before serving, add kidney beans.

8Makes 6 to 8 servings.
