- 1/2 lb. ground venison
- 1 large onion
- 1/2 tsp. cooking oil
- 4 c. kidney beans
- 2 c. canned tomatoes
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 3/4 to 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder (according to taste)
Directions

1Place oil in frying pan over medium heat and spread so it coats the surface.

2Add ground meat and onion and cook until the meat is brown.

3Stir often with a spatula to keep the meat from sticking to the pan.

4Add rest of ingredients to the pan; stir. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer slowly for 1 hour.
